Unless selecting a vari-focal camera (with an adjustable lens) It is important to select the correct camera lens option for where the camera is to be positioned. A smaller lens will give you a wider angle but will be "zoomed out more", while a bigger lens will narrow the angle down and "zoom in more". See below to give you some idea on angles of Megapixel HD Cameras:

The amount of hard drive space you require is dictated by how many cameras, as well as their resolution and frame rate settings. Finally you can often make your storage space last a lot longer by enabling motion detected recording rather than continuous, especially if there are long periods of no activity.

As a rule of thumb we recommend a minimum of 2 Terabytes per 4 x 2-4MP HD cameras, as this should give you 2 weeks to a month with a few adjustments on motion detected recording. You may only require the full 25 frames per second on certain cameras if things are fast moving.

The 270 degree PIR sensor means intruders cannot evade detection, even if trying to go against the wall or under the floodlight. With up to 60ft range in night vision mode, you are protected, even in the dark!
Hear, Speak, Record
Two-way audio means you can help deter intrusions before they happen, or maybe you just want to tell the pets to get off the plants. Either way, via the app you are in control. You can view live footage, recordings, send and share as well as manually set your alarm off.
All you need to do for setup is follow the instructions via the free Ezviz app and your home Wi-Fi. The Ezviz app works with all Ezviz cameras and alarm products. View and manage remotely wherever you are.
Storage of Footage
Ezviz cameras can hold a Micro SD card for local and continuous storage (up to 128GB), alternatively you can sign up to the Ezviz cloud storage system (subject to subscription) or via an Ezviz Network Video Recorder (NVR).
