Unless selecting a vari-focal camera (with an adjustable lens) It is important to select the correct camera lens option for where the camera is to be positioned. A smaller lens will give you a wider angle but will be "zoomed out more", while a bigger lens will narrow the angle down and "zoom in more". See below to give you some idea on angles of Megapixel HD Cameras:

The amount of hard drive space you require is dictated by how many cameras, as well as their resolution and frame rate settings. Finally you can often make your storage space last a lot longer by enabling motion detected recording rather than continuous, especially if there are long periods of no activity.

As a rule of thumb we recommend a minimum of 2 Terabytes per 4 x 2-4MP HD cameras, as this should give you 2 weeks to a month with a few adjustments on motion detected recording. You may only require the full 25 frames per second on certain cameras if things are fast moving.

The Hikvision DS-3WF5000-SI-5ACG/2P is a high-performance 5GHz wireless bridge kit designed to provide reliable long-range network connectivity between locations where installing a physical network cable would be difficult or impractical.
Supplied as a complete pair, the kit supports wireless transmission distances of up to 5km and a maximum wireless rate of 867Mbps using IEEE 802.11ac technology. This makes it ideal for extending network connections between buildings, connecting remote CCTV cameras, linking outbuildings or creating secure point-to-point wireless connections across larger sites.
Each bridge features an integrated 16dBi 2 × 2 MIMO directional antenna to provide strong and stable wireless performance. Point-to-point throughput reaches up to approximately 250Mbps at 5km, providing ample capacity for CCTV video transmission and other network applications.
Plug-and-play operation helps simplify installation, while signal strength indicators and the supplied universal joint mounting brackets make alignment easier. The system also supports visualised network topology management, allowing installers to monitor connections and device status more effectively.
Three Gigabit RJ45 network ports provide flexible connectivity, while PoE support simplifies installation by allowing compatible network equipment to be powered through Ethernet cabling. The kit includes two wireless bridge units, two 48V PoE adapters, power leads and the required mounting hardware.
Designed for outdoor installations, the DS-3WF5000-SI-5ACG/2P features an IP55-rated enclosure and operates in temperatures from -30°C to 65°C, making it suitable for a wide range of commercial, industrial and CCTV networking applications.
